As more than one hundred thousand American citizens await life saving organs, how should communities respond to the need?
Are religious congregations making the greatest strides in forming Medical/Religious partnerships which will empower learning and outreach?
ToHealDC shall highlight the tremendous need for life saving organs within America, and the role that each and every American, including Muslims, should consider in designating their organs for transplantation. We will underscore the need for continued community outreach and training in the delivery of appropriate and culturally competent health care to Muslim patients within the Washington DC region, as well as throughout the country.
